This is a "re-performing" loan that was brought current 6 months ago. The borrower paid consistently for two years, then a change of servicing caused a payment to be unaccounted for by the new (current) servicer for six months. The borrower quit paying, and he brought the loan current after foreclosure action was started. The borrower is on disability due to Multiple Sclerosis and therefore is exempt from property taxes. The borrower is divorced from the original co-borrower. Therefore his loan was modified by current lender to make his payments affordable on his fixed income.
